Planning consent for the Scroby Sands Offshore Wind Farm, including its offshore infrastructure such as monopiles and export cables bringing power ashore, was granted under the Food and Environment Protection Act (FEPA), the Coast Protection Act (CPA) and the Electricity Act. Scroby Sands is noted as the first offshore wind farm in the UK to receive planning consent through this combination of statutory regimes.
