On 15 June 2018, Terna started the works for the second section of the modernised Venice lagoon electricity network, initiating installation of the 132 kV underground cable link "Fusina 2 – C.P. Sacca Fisola", which completes the project and will enable dismantling of 6.5 km of the existing overhead line by the end of 2018.
