As part of the Kincardine export cable development, Kincardine Offshore Windfarm Ltd initiated an ongoing assessment of the hazard from potential unexploded ordnance (UXO) along the export cable route, aiming to reduce UXO risk to as low as reasonably practicable and incorporating UXO considerations into the wider offshore route survey work. This UXO hazard assessment formed one of the key inputs to defining safe cable routes within the Offshore Export Cable Corridor.
