On 4 November 2013, Vattenfall’s Board of Directors took final investment decision to proceed with the 49.5 MW Kentish Flats Extension project, committing around £150 million to deliver the scheme, including associated grid connection works such as the export cable system linking the extension to the Red House Farm substation.
