In April 2015 it was announced that the Kentish Flats Extension’s export and inter-array cables would be loaded onto the cable‑lay vessels BoDo Installer and Nostag 10 at Nordenham, Germany, on 1 May 2015 and then transported to the site off England’s south‑east coast, where installation of the export cables was scheduled to commence later in May.
