Baltic Offshore carried out a turnkey cable installation and civil works package for the Kårehamn project, including project management, cable supply, shore landings and laying of export and array cables, nearshore trenching and protection of approximately 2 x 1,500 m of export cables in shallow water off Kårehamn, Öland. The scope also covered installation of cable and transition joints and terminations, and placement of 690 four‑tonne gravelbag filter units in 5–25 m water depths to protect the 36 kV submarine export cables (9 km and 5 km) for the 48 MW connection owned by E.ON.
