Description
Balfour Beatty was awarded an EPCI contract by Statoil (now Equinor) to deliver the onshore 33 kV substation forming the Hywind Scotland Pilot Park grid connection at Peterhead Grange. The scope covered engineering and procurement of substation equipment and construction/installation works, interfacing with the project’s 33 kV export cable system to connect the offshore floating wind farm into the local distribution network.
