Financial close for the Hywind Scotland project, which includes the single 33 kV export cable connecting the floating wind turbines at Buchan Deep to the onshore grid at Peterhead Grange substation, was reached on 3 November 2015. Quest FWE data reports an overall project value of GBP 210 million at this point, indicating that full funding was secured to proceed with construction of the turbines, moorings, infield cabling and the export cable system.
