Description
Prysmian Group was awarded a contract by the Danish transmission system operator Energinet.dk to develop and supply an HVAC high-voltage underground cable system to connect the Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm grid connection from the beach-area substation/landfall to the 400 kV transmission station at Endrup. The scope included a 245 kV power cable connection comprising a 45 km land cable route, Click-Fit™ network components, and commissioning services, with cables manufactured at Prysmian’s Pikkala plant in Finland and final take-over scheduled in 2016.
