By August 2019, the Horns Rev 3 offshore grid connection, including Energinet.dk’s 220 kV export cable from the offshore transformer platform to shore and onward onshore cables to the Endrup substation, had been fully commissioned alongside the 407 MW wind farm, enabling continuous full-capacity commercial power export to the Danish transmission network.
