Description
ABB supplied the land (onshore) high-voltage cable system used in the HVAC grid connection between the Horns Rev 2 offshore wind farm and station Endrup in Denmark. The Horns Rev 2 cable connection included two land cable sections with a combined route length of 57.7 km, implemented as three single-conductor cables for the onshore cable system (one per phase), implying an installed/supplied onshore cable length of approximately 173.1 km in total across the three phases.
