Description
Jan De Nul Group was contracted by TenneT, as part of a consortium with LS Cable & System, to connect the Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm to the Dutch onshore power grid near Beverwijk. Jan De Nul Group was to perform transportation, laying and protection of the high-voltage 220 kV AC cable system(s), including post-lay trenching and rock protection works at subsea crossing locations, with offshore execution planned for 2022–2023. The scope also referenced beach works and termination to the offshore platform(s) as part of the offshore cable installation package.
