Description
Siemens Energy participated in the Prysmian/Siemens consortium for TenneT’s HelWin2 offshore grid connection in the German North Sea. Siemens Energy provided HVDC Plus converter technology for the offshore converter platform and the onshore converter station at Büttel, supporting the ±320 kV, 690 MW transmission link from HelWin Beta to shore.
