Description
Prysmian Group was awarded a long-term asset management contract by Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) to provide inspection, maintenance, and repair services for the submarine export cable links connecting the Saint-Nazaire, Fécamp and Calvados offshore wind farms to land. For the Fécamp link, the scope covered the two HVAC submarine export cable circuits (stated as 2×18 km offshore). The agreement was described as lasting 15 years and entering into effect immediately for the already-completed Saint-Nazaire link, then extending to Fécamp and Calvados when fully operational.
