In February 2015, ScottishPower Renewables (SPR) acquired Vattenfall Wind Power’s share in the wider East Anglia project, consolidating ownership of the East Anglia ONE development, including its planned offshore transmission system. Following this transaction, the project company East Anglia ONE Limited (EAOL), which is responsible for developing the wind farm and its associated transmission assets, is reported as being owned by SPR and Macquarie’s Green Investment Group (GIG), with SPR holding 60% and GIG 40%.
