In 2016, Hellenic Cables completed the turnkey 150 kV AC submarine cable project for IPTO, including design, manufacturing, installation, protection, termination, on-site testing and final commissioning of the 114 km Cyclades A Interconnection, which specifically interconnected Syros and Tinos via a 33 km cable, marking initial energisation of the Syros–Tinos leg.
