Description
Offshore Marine Management (OMM) carried out an inspection survey campaign in June 2010 on the offshore export cable connecting the original Burbo Bank Offshore Wind Farm to shore in Liverpool Bay, under a contract from DONG Energy. The work focused on assessing the in-service condition of the export connection and associated infrastructure, and also included inspection of the BB13–BB14 inter-array power cable. Using dedicated survey methods over the course of the month, OMM gathered condition and performance data to support ongoing operations and maintenance planning for the export cable system.
