By early 2010, the THV Seawind consortium, including Fabricom, HSS, Pauwels and Iemants, had been selected for the design and construction of the Belwind offshore high-voltage station (OHVS), a roughly 20 m x 20 m x 20 m, 1,100‑tonne platform that collects power from the wind farm and feeds it into the Belwind export grid connection. This OHVS forms the offshore substation component of the Belwind Export transmission system on Bligh Bank.
