In February 2024, PGE and Ørsted confirmed that they had selected a general contractor for the onshore connection infrastructure for the Baltica 2 project, in addition to contracting all necessary components and installation contracts. This marks the award of a major onshore grid connection works contract for the Baltica 2 export system.
