From the start of the operational phase in 2020, mandatory multi‑year monitoring programmes for WindFloat Atlantic have included studies on the offshore export cable built and operated by REN, alongside distribution assets managed by E‑REDES. These campaigns, required by the project’s licence, cover environmental and technical aspects during operation and are carried out as part of broader biodiversity and environmental monitoring of the wind farm area.
