G&T

G&T provided cost management and commercial advisory support to the Western HVDC Link project. Over the project lifecycle they delivered tender review and analysis, cost advice, risk assessment and whole-life costing to support procurement and the Ofgem audit, and subsequently provided risk support, contract administration, cost management and change management to address cable manufacturing issues and installation delays. Their input covered tender evaluation and ongoing contract and change control functions to help the client manage cost, risk and contractual performance during delivery of the subsea HVDC link between Hunterston and Flintshire Bridge. The work was delivered in support of the joint project owners, National Grid and Scottish Power, during the Western Link programme (project completion reported by the supplier).
