By August 2023, comprehensive environmental investigations on the N-6.7 offshore site in the German Exclusive Economic Zone, planned for Luxcara’s Waterkant wind farm about 90 km from Borkum, had been completed as part of the site’s pre-investigation milestones, supporting permitting and enabling a potential grid connection as early as 2028.
