Multiconsult

Multiconsult was awarded a separate FEED contract by Equinor for the onshore civil works associated with the Troll West electrification project. This work covers the early-stage engineering and design of civil infrastructure at Kollsnes required to bring power from the Norwegian onshore grid to the offshore Troll B and C platforms. The FEED includes planning for the new onshore plant, encompassing the transformer substation area, building foundations, cable routes and landfall civil structures. Multiconsult’s scope supports later construction contracts by defining layouts, geotechnical and structural concepts, and constructability for the Kollsnes onshore facilities that form the grid connection point for TWEL.
