The group has particular strength in renewable energy, including hydropower, onshore and offshore wind and solar. It provides full‑lifecycle services from early-phase technical and economic studies, resource and production estimates and environmental and social impact assessments through detailed design, construction supervision, grid connection concepts and decommissioning. In offshore wind it is recognised for design and engineering of gravity-based marine concrete foundations, seabed survey interpretation, metocean studies, hydrodynamic and mooring analyses and high-voltage grid integration. Multiconsult also delivers extensive hydropower and transmission and distribution work worldwide, as well as consultancy on energy markets, policy and technology, flood and erosion protection, and broader environmental and water management projects, with an explicit focus on value-creating and sustainable solutions.
