Description
J Murphy & Sons Ltd acted as Triton Knoll’s onshore cable installation lead contractor for the land export cable works connecting the landfall near Anderby to the new Triton Knoll substation at Bicker Fen. The scope described included constructing the joint bays along the route and supporting cable jointing using dedicated jointing containers. The land export system was described as two circuits of three single-core 220 kV XLPE AC cables over an approximately 57 km route (equivalent to ~342 km of installed single-core cable).
