The German Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency (BSH) granted public-law approval (öffentlich-rechtliche Zulassung) for the Trianel Windpark Borkum offshore wind farm, formerly known as Borkum West II, on 13 June 2008, authorising construction and operation of the 200 MW first phase in the German North Sea.
