On 19 May 2025, Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum awarded Deutsche Windtechnik a ten-year service and maintenance contract for the 200 MW Trianel Windpark Borkum I offshore wind farm, which has been operating since 2015. The agreement covers maintenance and upkeep (excluding major components) of the wind farm’s 40 Adwen AD5-116 turbines, with Deutsche Windtechnik providing optimised maintenance and logistics to stabilise turbine availability at a high level under a binding energy-availability guarantee.
