Trianel Wind Farm Borkum Phase 1 entered full commercial operation in September 2015, with 40 offshore Adwen/Areva 5 MW turbines delivering 200 MW of capacity from a 56 km² site in the German North Sea and supplying around 200,000 households with green electricity each year.
