On 28 November 2016, Seaway Heavy Lifting was awarded an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract by Trianel Windkraftwerk Borkum II GmbH & Co. KG for the foundations of the 203 MW Trianel Windpark Borkum II offshore wind farm, comprising monopile and transition piece structures for 32 turbines on the German continental shelf.
