On 14 November 2016, Siem Offshore Contractors GmbH was awarded a turnkey EPCI contract for the inner-array grid cable system at Trianel Windpark Borkum II, covering supply and installation of 36 x 33 kV medium-voltage submarine composite cables with a total length of up to 61 km, associated cable protection systems, and post-installation termination, trenching and testing.
