Siemens Energy

Siemens Energy was selected by RWE as preferred supplier and entered into an early works agreement to design, construct and install the onshore high-voltage substation for the Thor offshore wind farm grid connection. Siemens Energy was to commence design works, procure main substation equipment and submit permit applications, with construction activities expected to start in spring 2023 at the onshore substation site in the municipality of Lemvig (Volder Søndervang area near the coast and Energinet’s connection point).
