Description
Sollatek supplied two Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs) for the onshore substation at Richborough used with the Thanet offshore wind farm’s 132 kV grid connection. The AVRs regulated the low-voltage auxiliary supply feeding substation control equipment and ancillary loads, with one AVR operating and the other configured as a switchable backup.
