Commissioning of the TetraSpar Demonstrator’s grid connection and associated export cable at the METCentre off Karmøy, Norway, was completed on 29 November 2021, after which the floating turbine and its subsea connection to the Norwegian grid entered full automatic, unattended operation at 200 m water depth.
