At the time of submitting its main consents, NOWL also lodged applications for activity‑specific marine and harbour permissions for the Teesside Offshore Wind Farm, including Section 34 Coastal Protection Act 1949 consent for works below Mean High Water Springs, a Section 5 Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 licence for depositing construction materials at sea, and a PD Teesport Works Licence for construction in tidal waters and lands within the harbour area.
