Offshore Marine Management (OMM) provided offshore support services to Prysmian ahead of HVDC export cable installation on the SylWin1 offshore grid connection in German waters. Using the DP2 vessel Vos Sweet and an ROV, OMM cleared the proposed cable route, recovered out-of-service cables for disposal, and installed protective concrete mattresses over existing in-service subsea assets (telecom/power cables and gas pipelines). OMM also carried out a pre-lay grapnel run to remove seabed debris and confirm the route was clear for subsequent cable-lay activities.
