DELAYED +1yr (Apr 2026): The original ORH-SPA timeline anticipated subsea cable installation across Storstrømmen completing by summer 2027, consistent with an end-2025 commissioning target that has already slipped. Given that environmental permitting and route investigations only formally started in late 2023 and that cable installation start across Storstrømmen is now projected around spring 2028, completion by mid-2027 is impossible. For a ~7 km double-circuit installation, a single offshore campaign within 2028 is realistic; installation and protection completion is therefore moved to late 2028, in line with the revised construction sequence. --- As specified in Energinet Eltransmission’s ORH‑VONØ Offshore works tender, the offshore installation and protection of the two 7 km submarine cable circuits across Storstrømmen must be completed by summer 2027.
