Reguleringsmyndigheten for energi (RME) contributed to the government-commissioned assessment of how Phase 2 of Sørlige Nordsjø II should be connected to the grid, including recommendations on implementing hybrid interconnectors and ownership/operation arrangements (including a recommendation that Statnett should own and operate a hybrid connection).
