Description
NVE assessed how alternative grid connection solutions for offshore wind development in Sørlige Nordsjø II Phase 2 could affect the Norwegian power system and electricity prices. The analysis compared hybrid solutions (with interconnection to one or more foreign countries) versus a radial connection to mainland Norway, and was carried out on assignment from the Ministry (Olje- og energidepartementet).
