Scira Offshore Energy Limited awarded Nexans an EPC contract, valued at about €24 million, for the Sheringham Shoal export cable system that forms the Sheringham Shoal OFTO transmission assets, covering engineering and design of the 132 kV HVAC export cable system and manufacture and supply of two XLPE‑insulated submarine export cables with integrated fibre optics running from the two offshore substations to landfall near Weybourne.
