By the time the Environmental Statement was issued in January 2001, PowerGen Renewables Developments Ltd had formed a partnership with Vestas Wind Systems A/S (the “Scroby partners”) to develop Scroby Sands, indicating that Vestas had been selected as the turbine technology supplier for the proposed 38 offshore wind turbines on Middle Scroby Sands off Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
