After the November 2015 turbine failure at Paludans Flak, Siemens and the Danish Wind Turbine Certification Scheme oversaw detailed inspections of the remaining nine Bonus 2.3 MW turbines, which were found to have no defects, and agreed that regular visual checks of the tower‑top flange area would be performed monthly until further notice as part of the operational monitoring regime.
