Paludan Flak (Samsø Havvind) comprises ten WTG foundations supporting 10 × 2.3 MW Bonus/Siemens turbines (COD 2002–2003). Wind Estate acquired the park in 2019 and has proposed repowering/extension; one turbine collapsed in 2015 and was replaced. Foundation form reported as concrete gravity bases.
On 3 June 2025, the Danish Energy Agency approved Wind Estate’s application to extend the electricity production licence and operational life of the 23 MW Samsø / Paludan Flak offshore wind farm by ten years, allowing the 10‑turbine project to continue operating until 2037 under conditions that include extended annual inspections and bat‑protection operating constraints.
