15-year asset management contract for inspection, maintenance and repair of the submarine export cable links; covers the Saint-Nazaire HVAC 220 kV three-core submarine cables (2×34 km offshore).
Prysmian Group was awarded a 15-year contract by Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) to provide power grid asset management services for the submarine export cable links connecting the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm to the French mainland grid. Under the agreement, Prysmian will perform inspection, maintenance, and repair services for the HVAC 220 kV three-core submarine export cable system at Saint-Nazaire, described as two offshore cable sections of 34 km each. The contract entered into effect immediately, starting with the already-completed Saint-Nazaire link, and is intended to be extended to other RTE offshore wind grid connections as they become operational.
