Seaway Heavy Lifting

Seaway Heavy Lifting performed the offshore installation of the Riffgat offshore transformer substation topside as part of the Riffgat AC grid connection system. Using its heavy lift vessel Oleg Strashnov, Seaway Heavy Lifting transported the topside from the fabrication yard and lifted it onto the previously installed jacket structure at the Riffgat site in February 2013, enabling subsequent hook-up, commissioning and energisation of the 33/155 kV offshore substation that connects the wind farm to the onshore grid.
