Hellenic Cables, in consortium with DEME, signed an EPCI contract with Elia Asset NV/SA covering the engineering, design, manufacture and supply of three 220 kV HVAC submarine offshore export cable systems totalling 165 km, plus accessories, on-site jointing, termination and testing, commissioning, and maintenance of the export cable system. Cables connect the beach transition jointing pit to the transition jointing area on the artificial energy island in the Princess Elisabeth Zone. Manufacture is at Hellenic Cables' Corinth facility; the consortium partner DEME holds the marine installation scope.
