Iv, as a member of the HSI Joint Venture, was awarded by Belgian TSO Elia Transmission Belgium to perform the engineering scope under the MOG2 EPCIC contract for Princess Elisabeth Island (Modular Offshore Grid 2). Iv's work includes further design engineering for the high-voltage AC substation assets on the energy island, including layout development and creating a 3D model of all MOG2 transmission assets located on the island. The EPCIC package covers four high-voltage AC substations (two 1,050 MW and two 700 MW units), plus a facility module and a garage, with engineering carried out from Iv's office in Papendrecht.
