The existing 35 kV three-core submarine cable from Čaklje (supplied from substation TS 35/10 kV Podgora) to the cove Mala Pogorila on Hvar (junction KK 35 kV Mala Pogorila), installed in 1992 with a length of 12,054 m, was abandoned due to frequent faults and costly repairs and was removed from the sea in 2014, completing its decommissioning on the Podgora–Hvar route that is now served by the new Podgora–Hvar (Pogorila) cable.
