Description
Asso.subsea acted as subsea installation contractor for the Paros–Naxos–Mykonos interconnection under Phase B of the Cyclades Interconnection, performing cable laying and protection for the 150 kV AC submarine cable system. Its scope covered offshore installation and burial of the three‑core high voltage cables along the routes between the islands, including the Paros–Naxos section that provides Naxos with a high‑voltage connection into the mainland grid via Paros. The company delivered marine installation services using its specialist cable‑laying and protection spread, working under the overall Phase B programme that was completed with the energisation of Naxos to the high voltage system in 2020.
