Royal Boskalis Westminster, under contract from transmission system operator 50Hertz and in consortium with NKT, planned to commence Ostwind 2 export cable installation works in 2019, covering the design and installation of approximately 270 km of 220 kV AC export cables to connect the Arcadis Ost 1 and Baltic Eagle offshore wind farms to the onshore substation at Lubmin in Germany.
