The Ministry for Energy of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania granted 50Hertz approval for the land route of the Ostwind 1 offshore grid connection on 9 March 2015, issuing one of three permits required for the export cable route between the Westlich Adlergrund wind farm cluster and the Lubmin substation.
